Goods and Services!
Within the topic of social studies: economic, the concept of goods and services are commonly taught. Teaching goods and services is an important, yet simple way for younger students to understand the gist of economics.Goods are materials that satisfy human wants.
Services is a transaction in which no physical goods are transferred from the seller to the buyer.
You can teach these two definitions in many different exercise and activities. The 2nd grad class we are observing, the teacher use's a coin system when the students do a task well, participate, are interactive when instructed and stay on task Then, at the end of the week the students will have the opportunity to buy different things with the money they have earned. Some students do choice to save their money and save it for something better in the long run. This is a double teaching method; the teacher is rewarding and encouraging students for good behavior while also teaching them the basic concepts of goods and services. When teaching goods and services, you can direct it in many different ways with many different examples.
